Jenny & Miles’s beautiful Ashmolean Museum Wedding.
I was thrilled to be Jenny & Miles’s Ashmolean Museum Wedding photographer last week. I’ve never had the pleasure of photographing at the Ashmolean before, so it was an absolute treat for me to do so. Founded in 1683, The Ashmolean Museum is located in the beautiful city of Oxford and exhibits some incredible art and archaeology artefacts, all of which, makes an incredible backdrop for wedding celebrations.
I had a short amount of time with Jenny and Miles at their home before the ceremony, but just enough to get some nice images, before I had to leave for the venue.
Before the start of the ceremony I was able to get a some relaxed candids of the guests arriving, without their face coverings as they gathered on the forecourt before entering the museum, and adorning their masks.
Their ceremony took place in the stunning European art gallery. Then moving to the Roof Terrace for their reception drinks, and finally ending up in the Dining room for their wedding breakfast.
Jenny and Miles really liked my natural reportage style on my site, and specifically requested not to do too much posed couple shots after the ceremony. We did do a few, but I would say 98% of their coverage was documentary, which I love doing.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer with a documentary & natural style to cover your Ashmolean Museum Wedding, please drop me a line.
