Woldingham golf club wedding photographer Surrey
A few posts back I shared just one image from Eleanor and Ben’s wedding which was taken during the reception at Woldingham Golf club. So I thought it was about time I posted a few more photos from their wedding day.
As usual I started with photographing the bridal preps with Eleanor and the girls and planned to meet Ben at the church to get some shots of him and the guys before the ceremony. Because thing were running a little over at the house, I didn’t get chance to grab Ben at the church. I just had enough time to get parked, introduce myself to Andrew the minister and get ready for Eleanor’s arrival.
They were married at St Mary’s Church in Oxted and after the ceremony it was on to Woldingham Golf club for their wedding reception. It was a lovely ceremony officiated by Andrew Rumsey, a very cool minister giving me carte blanche, letting me shoot from pretty much anywhere during the ceremony within reason. I took up my position at the front of the church for the processional and planned to stay there for most of the ceremony, but because I didn’t have a great line of site of Eleanor or Ben, I decided it would be better to shoot from the back, so during the first hymn I made my way to the back of the church.
Straight after the ceremony and the congratulations I photographed the formals before moving onto Woldingham Golf Club . Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside with spectacular views and plenty of photo opportunities, Woldingham was a great choice to hold their reception.
After the speeches and the cake cutting, my coverage was finished, so it was time for me to pack up and say my goodbyes. I had a blast documenting Eleanor and Ben’s special day and I wish them all the best for the future together…..
